With all the rage around Artificial Intelligence (AI) lately, I've been taking a deeper dive into ways these tools can help teachers and students going forward. Recently, I kicked off a series of video shorts called "Hooked On Ai". These one minute-ish videos are meant to provide teachers with a quick overview of many different tools and strategies around using AI in the classroom.

Here's the first 3 videos in the series. Be sure to follow me on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or my Facebook page for more!

Canva's Magic Write & Magic Design

With schools blocking ChatGPT, it's good to have an alternative. Enter Canva and it's "Magic Write" tool. This tool lets you enter any prompt (within reason) and instantly outputs some information. They also recently added Magic Design which lets you create an entire presentation based on a prompt.

QuestionWell - An AI Assessment Generator

Struggling with creating assessment questions on a topic? QuestionWell.org lets you input a subject area, topic, grade level and more to generate a series of multiple choice questions. It also exports into many popular formative assessment tools like Kahoot!, Quizziz, Quizlet, Blooket, and more.

D-ID Avatar Generator

D-ID is a tool that let's you generate your own speaking avatar based on a script or uploaded audio file. You can choose from their extensive and diverse library or upload your own photo and watch it come to life! This is also now integrated into Canva but does require some minimal payment to generate videos (cost based on video length).
